Job summary

A leading audit firm in Malaysia is seeking an experienced auditor to oversee audit compliance engagements. The candidate will be responsible for managing all phases of engagements, from planning to execution, and ensuring high-quality communications with clients. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least 4 years of audit experience are required. This role also involves training staff and supervising follow-up tasks.   • Oversee and lead audit compliance engagements.
  • Responsible and coordinate all phases of the engagement, including the execution of the quotation, engagement letter, communications with the client, staffing requirements, deliverables, timelines, client, availability, job planning, and scheduling.
  • Responsible for contact with management regarding audit scope, status, and findings
  • Provides on-the-job training for staff
  • Supervises findings and follow-up tasks with management and audit staff
  • Participate and/or lead assigned special projects or audit assignments.
  • Assess and providing feedback on staff performance for staff evaluations.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Minimum 4 years of related audit experience required
  • Clear and concise written and oral communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of audit principles and practices
