Job summary

A manufacturing company in Johor Bahru is seeking a QA Manager to oversee quality aspects, lead QA/QC teams, and ensure compliance with ISO requirements. The ideal candidate has a Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in a Plastic/Rubber manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include activating corrective actions for quality issues and coordinating workflow for efficient manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in Plastic / Rubber manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of Quality Systems and Quality Assurance functions.
• Familiar with ISO 9001 & ISO 14000 and their implementation.

• Support QA Manager on all quality aspects.
• Lead QA/QC Leaders, Technicians, and Inspectors on parts checking.

Support QA Manager on all quality aspects

Lead QA/QC Leaders, Technicians and Inspectors on parts checking

Analyze 2D drawing and its specification

Activate corrective and preventive action on quality issues

Ensure Company Quality Management system in place and compliance with ISO requirements

Responsive to follow-up on customer quality complaints

Coordinate with internal terms to ensure smooth and efficient workflow of the entire manufacturing process

Support new product transfer programs through part/manufacturing process qualification

Conduct ad-hoc meeting on issues related to product quality (Internal and External) for effective corrective and preventive measures

Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or other fields
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in Plastic / Rubber manufacturing environment
• Good Quality Systems knowledge and Quality Assurance functions
• Familiar with ISO 9001 & ISO 14000 knowledge and its implementation
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure in fast paced environment
