Qualifications

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Associate, Tax Services reporting to the Manager, this full‑time and permanent position is based in Johor Bahru, Malaysia and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Tax services and its’ growth.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of Singapore‑based tax clients, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant delivery of tax services across various industries.
  • Prepare and review Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Personal Income Tax (PIT), and Goods & Services Tax (GST) submissions, including tax computations, Form C/C‑S, Form IR8A/IR21, GST returns, and supporting schedules in accordance with IRAS requirements.
  • Liaise with clients to gather information, clarify tax matters, and ensure all relevant documents are provided for accurate tax preparation.
  • Advise clients on compliance obligations, key filing deadlines, and general tax‑related queries to help them meet regulatory standards and avoid penalties.
  • Identify potential tax issues or opportunities during the compliance process and highlight them to seniors/managers where necessary.
  • Communicate with IRAS on basic matters such as filing clarifications, responding to simple enquiries, or assisting with routine correspondence when required.
  • Perform essential administrative duties, including maintaining client records, updating tracking sheets, organising documentation, and supporting billing processes.
  • Support ad‑hoc assignments, such as assisting with tax estimates, basic tax research, or simple advisory projects under guidance from seniors.
Key requirements
  • A Degree holder in Accountancy or professional certificate such as ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience in corporate and individual tax compliance, good knowledge in Singapore tax law / legislation is preferred.
  • Understanding in Singapore Tax Accreditation is an added advantage.
  • Possess passion, initiative, strong technical skills with an analytical mind and excellent communication skills.
  • Independent, self‑motivated and energetic team player.
