Position Overview
You will be a key member of the Malaysian Talent Acquisition team, responsible for supporting Talent Acquisition activities focusing on administration support, University engagement, walk in interviews, career fairs as well as supporting Talent Acquisition team in any Recruitment initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for recruiting junior level positions including interns
- Responsible for conducting research, outline internship period in Malaysia universities and build partnership with Universities for Recruitment purpose.
- Supports TA Lead in pipelining, market mapping and candidate sourcing.
- Engages and builds trust with candidates, effectively representing Insulet Brand
- Supports Talent Acquisition process improvements and initiatives.
- Ensuring that all relevant communication to managers and candidates is sent out during the recruitment process in a timely fashion.
- Schedule interview dates with the hiring manager and candidates and check for room availability, ensuring a smooth candidate and hiring manager experience. Troubleshoots any problems that arise from on-site or online interviews.
- Administering assessments for both Direct Labour and Indirect Labour hiring (If any)
- Regular follow up with the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of the recruitment process.
- Provides sourcing support to TA team via digital and social media tools.
- Develop passive candidate sourcing strategy and pipelines using various methods
- Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc
- Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports.
- Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work”
- Partner with HR Team on the pre onboarding and first day onboarding arrangement for both DL & IDL hires.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as required by management.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in HR, business, or a related field is preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HR/Recruitment, ideally in a multinational company. Experience in high volume processing is highly desired in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, curious to learn, and able to adapt to fast-changing and dynamic environment.
- Strong interest in Talent Acquisition role.
- Strong customer service focus and able to engage with internal and external stakeholders
- Good knowledge of HR processes (recruitment, contracts, integration) and Microsoft office tools
- Proficient in using recruitment channel such as Jobstreet, LinkedIn, Government Link Career site etc
- Excellent written and communication skills in English and Malay language
- Able to work independently, have good interpersonal and organizing skills.
- High energy & enthusiasm, with a customer service mindset
- Must work full time at site and in manufacturing environments/plants.
- Experience in recruitment projects and driving employer branding initiatives is an added advantage
- Experience working with recruitment technologies (Workday is a plus)
- Mature, Strong Customer Service & Able to work with all levels of employees.
- Must be flexible, work well under pressure, and can readily adapt to change.
