Job summary

A financial services company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Associate/Sr Associate in Finance Operations. The role involves reviewing clients' credit data, developing scoring systems, and preparing credit proposals. Candidates must possess a relevant degree and excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Melayu. A proactive and dynamic mindset is essential. The position operates Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Associate / Sr Associate, Finance Operations

Reviewing, assessing, analyzing, and interpreting client's credit data, financial statements, and other financial reports of companies.

Developing and utilizing credit scoring systems and statistical models to assist in credit decision by conducting unique Psychometric Test and Online Interview

Preparing, evaluating, and completing credit proposals with thorough analysis of Applicant's strength and weaknesses, repayment capacity and associated risk profile prior to submitting/recommending applications for decisioning.

Establish, Collaborate and maintain effective professional relationships with individuals and the wider team, including both internal and external stakeholders such as sales personnel, legal officers and Debt collectors.

Conduct cash flow analysis and other financial analysis wherever required.

Performing administrative and relief duties in relation to Credit functions, Debt recovery or as assigned to you from time to time.

Leading or providing support on ad-hoc projects and task assigned to you from time to time.

Handling and management of various stakeholders within the organization across the Region.

Requirements
  • Degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Economics or relevant field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Bahasa Melayu.
