Qualifications

• For Associate: 0–2 years of relevant tax experience.
• For Senior Associate: 2–4 years of relevant tax experience.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare corporate and individual tax computations and Form E submissions.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of Form CP204 and CP204A.
• Handle basic IRB correspondences and assist in tax-related queries.
• Support the team in maintaining proper documentation and systematic filing of tax records.
• Review corporate and personal tax computations and ensure timely submission.
• Manage client relationships and address queries in a timely manner.

Job Summary

In this role, you will be involved in planning, execution, and reporting for a wide range of SME and mid-market clients, with opportunities for cross-border engagements. Job Responsibilities

Tax Associate

If you’re a fresh graduate or have up to 2 years of experience, we invite you to build and grow your tax career with us. You’ll gain hands‑on exposure in tax computation, compliance, and client management while learning from experienced mentors.

• Prepare corporate and individual tax computations and Form E submissions.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of Form CP204 and CP204A.
• Handle basic IRB correspondences and assist in tax‑related queries.
• Support the team in organizing and maintaining proper documentation and systematic filing of tax records.
• Coordinate with clients, company secretaries, and other parties to gather required information.
• Assist in administrative matters such as tracking invoices and following up on payments.

Tax Senior Associate

If you have 2–4 years of tax experience, this role allows you to deepen your technical expertise while leading assignments and guiding junior team members.

• Review corporate and personal tax computations and ensure timely submission of returns.
• Manage client relationships and address queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Review and respond to IRB correspondences, escalating complex matters to the Tax Manager when necessary.
• Supervise and review work prepared by junior team members, providing guidance and feedback.
• Ensure all client deliverables meet quality and compliance standards.
• Stay updated on the latest tax regulations and communicate relevant changes to the team.
• Support the Tax Manager in special projects and process improvements.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or partial/professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MIA).
• For Associate:0–2 years of relevant tax experience.
• For Senior Associate:2–4 years of relevant tax experience.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — able to liaise confidently with clients and colleagues.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
• A team player with a proactive attitude and growth mindset.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarinis an advantage to liaise with Mandarin‑speaking clients.
