A recruitment agency is seeking an Accounting professional for a role in Johor Bahru. Responsibilities include preparing accounts and submitting GST/SST returns. The ideal candidate will possess a relevant qualification and at least 1 year of experience, with basic knowledge of accounting standards and software like Xero and QuickBooks. Accountable for preparation of partial/ full sets of account activities meeting the clients.
To prepare/ submit SST/GST return with the authorities.
Assist in timely and accurate preparation of management accounts/ unaudited financial statements.
Review current workflow and recommend solutions to address weaknesses or improve efficiency, in collaboration with other departments where appropriate.
Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Certificate/ Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
At least 1 years of working experience in the related field; fresh graduate is welcome to apply for Accounts Junior.
Has basic knowledge in accounting standards and policies such as IASs and FRSs and statutory requirements such as GST/ SST
Has basic knowledge in using professional accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks
Able to work in a fast-paced environment, work independently, and team player spirit
Structured, proven ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and achieve results under pressure.
