Job Responsibilities

As part of the second line of defense (2LOD) Risk function, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the company’s aim to deliver high-quality services to clients.
You’ll help shape our risk framework by providing insight, oversight and constructive challenge across all areas of risks, work across business functions to strengthen governance, support key change initiatives and develop a strong risk culture enabling us to meet strategic objectives.

  • Liaise with key stakeholders to collect and consolidate data for periodic risk management reporting to senior management and the Board.
  • Lead collection and review of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) from risk owners and conduct periodic reporting to BNM.
  • To facilitate periodic reporting to BNM on Incidents, where required.
  • Develop, maintain and monitor the organization’s risk register, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated.
  • Engage and work closely with relevant risk owners, in identifying risk exposure to ensure adequate measures are in place to mitigate the identified risks.
  • Lead engagements with risk owners on Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA).
  • Support coordination of BCP simulation.
  • Support the development and delivery of the risk awareness program to build a strong risk-awareness culture in the organization.
  • Provide necessary consultation and advice pertaining to risk management perspective as and when required.
Pre-Requisites
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or a related field, preferably within a platform or financial services environment.
  • Sound understanding of industry risk and compliance best practices, with the ability to assist in implementing and enhancing frameworks accordingly.
  • Sound knowledge of risk and control frameworks applicable to the industry, ensuring risk mitigation.
  • A strong understanding of risks issues and events to enable informed reporting and constructive challenge.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, organizational and influencing skills, engaging effectively with colleagues at all levels and drafting reports for senior leadership.
  • Possess excellent reporting skills, translating data into clear, actionable information.
  • Can do attitude and a strong sense of ownership of workload, demonstrating a proactive approach to risk management and problem-solving.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in fintech, e-commerce or digital payments industries.
