Job summary

Monash University Malaysia Campus is seeking an Associate Professor in Pharmacy Practice to contribute significantly to research, teaching and engagement within the School of Pharmacy.

The role involves leading in an academic environment with workload collaboratively determined with the Head of School, and may include additional duties as directed. This is a full-time, fixed-term appointment at the Main Campus.

Responsibilities

• A Level D academic is expected to make a significant contribution to all activities of the organisational unit.
• Key result areas are Research, Teaching and Engagement with workload agreed annually with the Head of School.
• Other duties may be required from time to time as directed by the Head of School.
• Reporting Line: The position reports to Head of School.

The Opportunity

A Level D academic is expected to make a significant contribution to all activities of the organisational unit or interdisciplinary area and play a significant role within their profession or discipline. Academics at this level may be appointed in recognition of distinction in their disciplinary area. The key result areas of Research, Teaching and Engagement are the basis for the primary duties and responsibilities of the role. A workload will be agreed annually with the Head of School during the Performance Development Plan process. Other duties may be required from time to time as directed by the Head of School.
