Flex Senai, Johor is seeking an Associate Process Engineer to enhance cost, quality, and delivery through process-improvement initiatives within a manufacturing setting. You will work on understanding existing processes and introducing robust, repeatable control methods to improve throughput and reliability.

The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, evaluating new equipment, and driving ECOs while maintaining focus on lean principles and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing or engineering experience.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Understand the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques and the product.
• Define, implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.
• Identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process independently or with other engineering stakeholders.
• Participate in daily production activities and provide effective problem solving on daily issues.
• Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.
• Support and oversee new process equipment production.
• Support the raising and introduction of engineering change orders (ECOs).
• Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible process parameters.
• Develop, implement and take ownership of process control methodologies.
• Troubleshoot process related issues.

Associate Process Engineer located in Flex Senai, Johor, in charge of process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to support a manufacturing organization.

Key responsibilities

• Understand the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques and the product
