Job summary

McDermott International, Ltd in Malaysia is seeking an Associate Pipeline Engineer to perform detailed design engineering, analysis, and calculations on basic tasks under close supervision and mentoring. Qualifications

• Familiarity with standards, codes and guidelines as applicable
• Willingness to learn and grow in pipeline engineering tasks
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and oral
• Interest in hydraulics, piping and offshore infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed design engineering, analysis, and calculations on basic engineering tasks
• Apply knowledge to complete routine assignments under close supervision and mentoring
• Prepare detailed design calculations and analyses including reports and procedures
• Organize workload to meet deadlines and maintain documentation
• Familiarize with P&IDs, Line Lists, Plot Plans, and Piping Specifications
• Assist with MTOs, vendor data review, and pipe stress calculations
• Support with material requisitions, technical queries, and design reviews
• Contribute to awareness of project scope, costs, and inter-discipline requirements
