A financial services company in Johor Bahru is seeking a qualified accounting professional to manage accounts and prepare financial statements. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of experience in Banking, Finance, or Fintech and will oversee tax filings and audits. This role involves leadership, process improvements, and commuting to the Singapore office a few days weekly with transportation allowance.
Manage the full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL, reconciliations) for multiple entities.
Prepare consolidated financial statements.
Develop and implement transfer pricing models.
Review monthly management accounts and financial statements; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, secretarial firms, and government authorities.
Oversee all tax and regulatory filings, statutory audits, and required documentation.
Lead process improvements and support new system implementations.
Contribute to building and guiding the finance team as needed.
