Job summary

  • Budget and track Asahi P&L.
  • Provide ad hoc financial reports as needed.
  • Lead the budgeting process for Supply Chain Finance.
  • Support validation of cost-saving initiatives.
  • Champion Power BI automation for financial reporting.
  • Coordinate SOAR self-assessments for compliance.

Pivotal role in regional cost accounting operations, with a focus on financial planning, variance analysis, and supply chain cost optimization across APAC. This position is based in Kuala Lumpur and reports to the Asia Pacific Supply Chain Finance Director.

Responsibilities
  • Delivered Cost Management: Coordinate and consolidate regional delivered cost reporting across Budget, Actuals, and S&OP Forecast cycles to ensure financial accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Delivered Profit Reconciliation: Prepare and validate country, cluster, and regional DP reconciliations to support performance tracking.
  • Ocean Freight Budgeting: Lead the budgeting and performance tracking of ocean freight costs across all APAC markets, ensuring cost efficiency and alignment with financial targets.
  • P&L Ownership: Budget and track Asahi P&L
  • Ad hoc reporting: Provide ad hoc financial reports as needed to support the Regional Leadership
  • Functional Budget Leadership: Lead the budgeting process for Procurement, Supply Chain Finance, and other supply chain functions, ensuring timely and accurate financial submissions.
  • Cost Savings Validation—Support validation of cost-saving initiatives related to Procurement and Design-to-Value (DTV)
  • Reporting Automation: Champion Power BI automation for financial reporting, enhancing data visualization, accessibility, and decision-making efficiency.
  • Compliance and Controls: Coordinate SOAR self-assessments within Global Supply Chain to ensure compliance with internal controls and audit readiness.
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies
  • Graduate of any business course, preferably Accountancy
  • At least 4 years' work experience in a FP&A role
Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies
  • CPA or CMA
  • Experience in Product Supply Finance is an asset
