Job description

Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure all paperwork is in order and complies with company policies.
  2. Prepare shipping documentation such as Shipping Instruction, Packing List, Invoices, Certificate of Origin, Bill of Lading, Dangerous Goods form IATA & IMDG, and Pre-alert to Customers.
  3. Manage import and export procedures.
  4. Handle customs requirements and documentation such as ZB1, ZB2, K8, K2 & K1.
  5. Liaise and communicate with port management, including requesting CMR (Container Movement Request).
  6. Communicate with customers and clients, resolving any complaints.
  7. Coordinate with customer order management on order fulfillment and related issues.
  8. Liaise with customers, transporters, shipping lines, air freight, ocean freight, and freight forwarders.
  9. Monitor and coordinate transportation and trucking to ensure timeliness.
  10. Maintain meticulous records of shipment information.
  11. Perform data entry and other related assignments.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum SPM / Diploma / Degree holder.
  • Preferably 1-2 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
  • Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with strong customer service skills.
  • IATA DG certification is an advantage.
  • Ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines and multitask.
  • Capable of working under stress and adapting to change.
  • Self-initiated, team-oriented individual.
