A leading financial institution in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Associate Analyst to support capital debt management activities. The candidate will manage funding transfer pricing, prepare reports, and assist in capital management processes. A degree in finance or accounting is required along with strong analytical and numerical skills. We are looking for an Associate Analyst, Capital Debt Management to join our team at RHB Bank. In this role, you will support funding transfer pricing (FTP) and capital management activities, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, timely submissions, and effective support for governance and decision-making forums.
Support FTP-related functions, including preparation of monthly FTP closing and timely submission to internal stakeholders.
Manage the FTP system and perform FTP computations, including analysis of FTP implications to SBG.
Prepare monthly net interest margin computations for GALCO submission.
Prepare and compile the monthly GALCO deck and liaise with relevant stakeholders to address review points and feedback.
Attend to and assist with ad-hoc requests from SBG.
Support capital management activities, including assisting in capital-related payment processes.
Assist in peer benchmarking exercises to support capital management analysis.
Support documentation related to bond establishment, issuance, and redemption activities.
Degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field.
Good understanding of funding transfer pricing, interest margin analysis, or capital management concepts.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with good attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to prepare clear and accurate reports and presentations.
Good communication skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders across functions.
Ability to manage timelines, handle multiple tasks, and respond effectively to ad-hoc requests.
Team-oriented, proactive, and willing to learn in a fast-paced banking environment.
