Job summary
A leading financial institution in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a dedicated Learning Development Specialist. The role involves conducting learning needs analysis, developing and curating curriculum, and managing learning solutions. The ideal candidate holds at least a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and has a minimum of 2 years of experience in learning development, preferably in the financial sector. Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, HR Management, or related fields.
- Professional certification in Learning & Development is an advantage.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in learning development or human capital development.
Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering insights on learning needs and gaps.
- Support design and curation of learning modules.
- Plan and execute implementation of learning solutions.
- Analyze programme evaluation data for improvements.
- Ensure learning solutions are delivered with quality and efficiency.
- Build strategic relationships with stakeholders.
- Manage ad-hoc learning requests from Management.
Job Responsibilities
- Learning Needs Analysis – Assist in gathering insights from business on learning needs and gaps, and work with SMEs to validate learning needs.
- Curriculum Development – Support design and curation of learning modules and materials, co-develop solutions with SMEs aligning with curriculum, coordinate pilots and feedback sessions.
- Learning Delivery and Experience – Plan and execute end-to-end implementation of curriculum/learning solutions including guiding trainers on learning delivery, delivering learning experience to support learner engagement at all touch points, and procuring learning services.
- Measuring Impact – Analyse programme evaluation data and make recommendations for future improvement. Prepare evaluation reports on progress and outcomes of sector-based technical learning to sector leadership and key stakeholders.
- Learning Efficiency – Put system in place to ensure learning solutions are delivered with consistent quality, efficiency and optimising digital operating platform (DOP) and other technology. This includes planning and scheduling, communications and promotions, data management, process optimisation and learner experience support.
- Leverage on Network – Build strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders to stay abreast with the latest central banking technical development as well as learning trends and technology to ensure content relevance and learning effectiveness.
- Extend Support – Assess and manage ad-hoc learning requests from Management related to central banking and technical development areas when required.
Job Requirements
- A minimum of Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Instructional Design, Human Resource Management, Human Capital Development, Education (adult learning), Psychology and/or Business Administration. Professional certification in Learning & Development will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of continuous experience in learning development/ human capital development or any relevant disciplines. Experience in central banking technical areas such as monetary stability and/or financial stability are preferred.
