The Asst Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales performance, managing a team of property sales consultants, and achieving sales targets for the company’s property projects. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a strategic mindset to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
Report to: Head of Sales and Sales Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Team Support and Coordination – Assist the Sales Manager in planning, implementing, and managing sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Coordinate daily sales operations, ensuring that the sales team is organized, focused, and aligned with company objectives.
- Customer Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and effectively, escalating issues to the Sales Manager when necessary. Assist in managing key accounts, ensuring that customer needs are met and sales opportunities are maximized.
- Operational Efficiency – Ensure that the sales gallery and properties are maintained in excellent condition, ready for customer visits and presentations. Assist in managing the administrative aspects of sales, including processing orders, managing contracts, and ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Sales Reporting and Analysis – Assist in preparing sales reports, forecasts, and analysis for senior management, providing insights into sales trends, team performance, and market conditions. Monitor the sales pipeline, ensuring that leads are tracked and managed effectively, and that sales activities are documented properly.
- Team Leadership and Development – Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team in the absence of the Sales Manager, ensuring that team morale and performance remain high. Support the Sales Manager in conducting performance reviews, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.
- Compliance and Process Management – Ensure that all sales activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards. Assist in processing invoices and claims from appointed agencies and solicitors, ensuring accuracy and timely payment. Monitor appointed sales agencies to ensure they perform according to company policies, providing feedback and support as needed.
- Prepare payment requisitions and forward the agencies' or solicitors' invoices to a superior for verification.
- Sales Gallery Maintenance – Ensure the sales gallery operates smoothly, is well‑organized, and is maintained in a clean and inviting condition at all times. Ensure that show units' assets within the sales gallery are properly maintained and presented to the highest standards to attract potential buyers.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience in the property or real estate industry. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Skills: Strong leadership and people management abilities. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
Other: Knowledge of local real estate market and regulations. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
