Job summary

A manufacturing company in Kulai, Malaysia is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality teams and ensure product standards are met. Ideal candidates will have a Diploma or Degree in Quality/Manufacturing/Engineering and at least 6 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Supply Chain within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role involves managing supplier quality audits, driving improvement activities, and dealing with customer complaints effectively. Knowledge of SPC, FMEA, and GD&T is essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Malay.

Responsibilities

  • Manage quality teams to ensure products meet quality standards.

Job description

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Quality/ Manufacturing / Engineering or equivalent

At least 6 years of working experience in Quality Assurance or Supply Chain. Significant experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Experience in SPC, MSA, GD&T, FMEA, Control Plan

Able to join immediately is advantage.

Able to speak & write in English & Malay.

Job Description:

Manage and coordinate the quality teams of IPQC, IQC, OQC, Lab, Calibration, Reliability, KPI and product/process analyst to ensure raw material, products and finished goods meet the quality standard.

Assist HOD to coordinate/ liaise with supplier for all issues regarding quality.

Drive the quality improvements activities.

Monitoring effectiveness of quality control system and make appropriate recommendations.

Prepare the monthly scrap report and lead the related departments to do the improvement of scrap.

In charge of local supplier quality audit and monitoring their performance.

Support of customer complaint corrective and preventive action improvement.

Lead the change control and validation of process, product, material, supplier, machine.

Work with MFT, PIE, Engineering & Production for the failure analysis for improvement.

Any other task assigned by superior from time to time.
