Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, review and ensure compliance with Trading Department (procurement and sales) policies and procedures.
• Implement, maintain and ensure accomplishment of the procurement and sales strategies/plans for building materials.
• Check and ensure accuracy of all data entry such as quotation, purchase order, delivery order, invoices and all software application before forwarding to superior and management for endorsement.
• Analyze and report to immediate superior the short and long term market conditions including the study of market trends.
• Initiate the materials planning stage of projects together with project team and consultants.
• Source and compare appropriate products/materials available within the budget given by customers.
• Close monitoring of materials delivery schedule to smoothen construction work progress, and to ensure quality compliance to our specification.
• Carry out any other job tasks/assignments as and when requested by Senior Management, Department Head or direct superior.

Requirements

• At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in any field.
