JOB DESCRIPTION
YOUR ROLE AS AN ASSISTANT MANAGER, PROJECT MANAGEMENT

To support the development, evaluation, and implementation of the company’s network strategy by analyzing route performance, identifying new market opportunities, optimizing capacity, and coordinating cross‑functional projects to ensure sustainable network growth and profitability.

WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION
1. Strategic Consulting & Business Analysis
  • Conduct end‑to‑end analysis of airline business performance across commercial, operations, and finance domains.
  • Develop business cases and strategic recommendations for route expansion, cost reduction, fleet planning, or digital transformation.
  • Benchmark performance against industry peers and identify best practices.
  • Support C‑level decision‑making with market research, trend analysis, and financial modelling.
2. Data Analytics & Insights
  • Design and build analytical models to assess route profitability, demand forecasts, or customer behavior.
  • Consolidate and visualize complex data using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, Excel).
  • Translate raw data into insights for commercial teams (e.g., pricing, loyalty, ancillary revenue).
  • Implement KPI dashboards and predictive models to track strategic initiatives.
3. Project Management & Delivery
  • Lead and coordinate cross‑department projects — from scoping, planning, execution, to post‑implementation review.
  • Define project milestones, deliverables, timelines, and stakeholder responsibilities.
  • Ensure alignment between commercial, finance, operations, and IT functions.
  • Monitor risks, dependencies, and budget to ensure project success.
  • Prepare project reports, presentations, and updates for senior leadership.
4. Stakeholder Management & Communication
  • Act as the key liaison between internal stakeholders and external consultants or vendors.
  • Facilitate workshops, data review sessions, and strategy meetings.
  • Present findings and project updates to management and executive committees.
  • Support change management and adoption of new tools or processes across teams.
5. Continuous Improvement & Innovation
  • Identify process inefficiencies and propose data‑driven improvements.
  • Support the implementation of advanced analytics tools, automation, or AI‑driven models in decision‑making.
  • Contribute to building organizational capability in analytics and project governance.
WHO YOU ARE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business, Economics, Data Science, or Engineering.
  • 4–7 years of experience in aviation consulting, strategy, or business analytics, ideally within or for an airline.
  • Proven track record managing cross‑functional or transformation projects.
  • Advanced analytical and modelling skills (Excel, SQL, Python/R preferred).
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView).
  • Familiarity with aviation data sources (OAG, MIDT, Cirium, Sabre).
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus.
