Overview

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Assistant Production Manager to support the Production Manager in overseeing daily operations, optimizing manufacturing efficiency, and driving continuous improvement across the plant. This role plays a key part in coordinating production teams, maintaining product quality, and ensuring smooth cross-department collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Production Manager in planning, controlling, and monitoring all production operations to achieve output, quality, and cost targets.
• Lead and guide Section Heads and Supervisors in executing production schedules within budget and time constraints.
• Oversee quality control, inventory control, and coordination of production activities with other departments.
• Monitor and enforce production standards, efficiency, and safety compliance across all lines.
• Drive continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with other departments to plan and implement company goals, policies, and procedures.
• Analyze production performance data, identify issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure confidentiality and proper documentation of all production information.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and process improvement.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, ISO standards, and Internal Quality Auditing.
• Familiar with CNC machining processes and manufacturing technologies.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including supervisory or engineering roles.
• Exposure to Health & Safety Management, SPC, or Six Sigma is an advantage.
