Job Description:
New Product PR Strategy
- Develop and execute PR strategies for new product launches in alignment with vivo's brand and market goals.
- Promote new products through media channels tohighlight vivo's core values.
- Manage brand image to maintain consistency and a positive public perception.
Media Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key journalists and media outlets in Malaysia.
- Prepare and distribute press materials to ensure timely and accurate information.
- Organize media events and manage crisis PR to protect the brand’s reputation.
Content Creation and Communication
- Plan and execute creative content aligned with vivo’s brand positioning.
- Collaborate with local media, influencers, and KOLs to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
Event Planning
- Plan and execute brand-related events to boost exposure.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency across public relations and marketing efforts.
- Supervise event execution to ensure smooth operations and maximize impact.
Internal Communication and Reporting
- Collaborate with internal teams to align PR efforts with overall business strategies.
- Track and report on PR effectiveness, proposing improvements as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience (4-6 years) in Public Relations or Integrated Marketing Communications, with a focus on product launches, media relations, and brand management, preferably in the technology or consumer electronics industry.
- Strong media relations experience, particularly in Malaysia, with a track record of building relationships with key journalists, outlets, and influencers.
- Fluency in Mandarin, Englishand Bahasa Melayu, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in all languages. "We are looking for Mandarin-speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers."
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and the ability to track and report PR effectiveness using analytic tools.
- Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work across teams, ensuring alignment of PR efforts with broader marketing and business strategies.
- Experience in organizing large-scale events and ensuring smooth execution from start to finish.
- Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
