Job summary

A leading restaurant and bar group in Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Outlet Manager to assist in running restaurant operations smoothly. As an Assistant Outlet Manager, you’ll support the Outlet Manager in ensuring smooth, efficient, customer-focused, and profitable operations of the restaurant. Job Requirements

Education

  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Management, Restaurant Management, or related field preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in food safety/hygiene are a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in F&B operations, preferably in restaurants, cafés, or hotel outlet.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead role is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with POS systems and outlet reporting tools.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and problem‑solving skills.
  • Good understanding of inventory control, cost management, and sales analysis.
  • Strong communication skills in English; Bahasa Malaysia and other languages a plus.
  • Flexible and able to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
