Role Overview
The Assistant Outlet Manager will serve as the influential leader and role model of the outlet, guiding the team, caring for customers, ensuring smooth daily operations, and building a positive, supportive environment where both customers and staff feel valued and motivated. The role is ideal for experienced leaders who are confident, composed, and dedicated to excellence in wellness hospitality.
Customer Experience
- Welcome and engage customers to ensure they feel comfortable, heard, and well-cared for.
- Address customer feedback or concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Maintain high service standards that match Mayfair Wellness’s caring and personalized approach.
- Act as a brand ambassador to align all guest interactions with the brand’s values.
Outlet & Business Management
- Oversee all aspects of the outlet’s operations to ensure smooth service flow and optimal resource use.
- Motivate the team to meet sales goals through genuine customer care and trust-based selling.
- Promote the company’s programs and packages in a natural, customer-centric way.
- Monitor outlet performance and explore team-based ways to improve results.
- Collaborate with the head office on campaigns, new service launches, and pilot initiatives.
Leadership & Talent Development
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a multi-functional team including consultants, therapists, and supervisors.
- Identify high-potential team members and build succession pipelines for future leaders.
- Conduct performance reviews, coaching sessions, and develop capability improvement plans.
- Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Governance & Reporting
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and operational standards.
- Maintain strong operational discipline, complete documentation, and accurate reporting.
- Provide structured insights and recommendations to Area Managers and senior leadership.
- Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all business aspects.
Requirements
Education
Preferred: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Hospitality, Retail, or related fields.
Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in a retail, beauty, wellness, spa, hospitality, or service-based outlet.
- Experience in leading a team and working towards sales or performance targets.
