Job summary

Hong Leong Bank is seeking an Assistant Manager / Senior Executive for Business & Corporate Banking (Business Risk & Control). You will work with the Head of Business Control & Risk to implement robust compliance frameworks and update policies to align with regulatory standards and internal guidelines.

The role requires a degree in relevant fields, near-native English, and 2+ years in corporate/commercial banking risk or compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance/Banking/Economics/Law or equivalent.
• Near native proficiency in spoken and written English.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in corporate/commercial banking and/or managing compliance or legal risk in a banking/financial institution.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and banking products is required.

Responsibilities

• Foster compliance culture and promote regulatory awareness across TB/Business Banking.
• Oversee and perform risk assessments across TB business units.
• Design and execute monitoring plans to evaluate effectiveness of compliance controls.
• Ensure timely and accurate regulatory disclosures and reports.
