All about the role
Lead a service‑oriented Record to Report (RTR) team to deliver timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting for assigned countries across APAC. You will manage month‑end close, drive continuous improvement, serve as the first point of escalation for stakeholders, and ensure robust process controls and documentation.

What you’ll do?
Operational Excellence & Close Governance
- Own the end‑to‑end RTR calendar to meet corporate deadlines and SLA/KPI commitments. Track and analyze KPIs e.g. close timeliness, SLA attainment, reconciliation compliance, first‑time‑right.
- Oversee journal processing, accruals, allocations, intercompany, FX revaluations, and AARO reporting.
- Ensure Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Compliance Reporting are complete, accurate, and on time.
- Provide oversight across specialist areas: Asset Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Tax Accounting, Treasury & Cash Management, Period‑End Close, Reporting, and Audit.
- Monitor daily throughput and resolve roadblocks to safeguard close timelines. Provide clear, data‑driven insights and root‑cause analyses with action plans.
- Ensure adherence to Electrolux accounting policies, GFSS standards, and internal control requirements.
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date Desktop Task Procedures (DTPs), process maps, and reference materials; approve changes and ensure team compliance.
- Coordinate responses to internal/external auditors and ensure timely remediation of findings.
Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead, coach, and develop RTR Executives; set clear objectives and conduct performance reviews.
- Manage workforce planning (hiring, onboarding, job rotation, backup coverage, and succession).
- Promote a high‑performance, service‑first culture with focus on quality, ownership, and collaboration.
Stakeholder & Escalation Management
- Act as the primary contact for internal customers (markets, controllers, corporate functions).
- Proactively manage escalations, communicate status and recovery plans, and run operational governance (huddles, weekly reviews, monthly performance packs).
Continuous Improvement & Transformation
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate RTR processes; quantify benefits and track outcomes.
- Lead or sponsor Lean/Six Sigma initiatives; share best practices across GFSS streams (OTC, PTP, RTR).
- Plan and oversee knowledge transfer during transitions; support ERP/process changes (incl. UAT and cut‑over).

Who you are?
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in RTR/ General Ledger, month‑end close, and balance sheet governance — preferably in a Shared Services or multinational environment.
- Supervisory experience leading a medium‑sized team with measurable outcomes.
- Exposure to specialist domains (Asset, Inventory, Tax, Treasury), audit management, and transition/ERP implementation (incl. UAT).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Finance; ACCA/CPA/CIMA (completed or in progress) preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma accreditation is an advantage (optional).
- Strong technical accounting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Confident people leader with clear communication (written & verbal) and stakeholder management.
- Organized, detail‑oriented, and resilient — able to prioritize in a dynamic, multi‑cultural international environment.
- Customer‑obsessed, continuous‑improvement mindset, high standards of integrity and confidentiality.
- SAP and AARO exposure (optional).
- Microsoft Excel (advanced), PowerPoint; familiarity with reconciliation and close‑management tools is a plus.
