Job description
SUMMARY

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager, People Solutions, who will work closely with business leaders to align HR strategies with business goals. You will drive key HR initiatives across talent management, performance management, employee engagement, and organizational development, while ensuring compliance and fostering a positive work culture.

WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION
  • Main point of contact for any People Department's enquiries and requests.
  • Work closely with department managers to ensure successful execution of each People Department's functions i.e. recruitment, performance management, statutory payment, taxation, discipline and exit management
  • Participate in department's dialogues to gain a better understanding of the department's issues and initiatives
  • Track and report key employees’ behaviours with an objective of increasing employee engagement
  • Facilitate communication and buy-in of selected People Department's policies, processes and initiatives
  • Manages all disciplinary issues which includes handling grievances and disciplinary cases up to recommendation for disciplinary action and Domestic Inquiry (DI)
  • Manages Performance Management cycle and facilitate management of Performance Improvements Plan ( PIP ) cases
  • Verifies job movements; transfer, re-designation, promotion, salary adjustment, acceptance of resignation on a timely manner.
  • Rewards- Analyze market rate, manages internal equity, determine compensations and remuneration package for new joiner as well as internal promotion/increment
Additional Task
  • Handled on-boarding for new joiner; collection of acceptance (critical & non-critical documents) collection of all documents needed for work permit application (new & extension for expat/foreigner)
  • Conduct on-boarding briefing
  • Provides report/information requires by higher management
  • Providing consultation & support with regards to the appropriate training that requested by the HODs (Talent Development).
  • Conduct Talent Review with the respective Head of Departments to identity the right successor.
WHO YOU ARE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in HRBP or Generalist HR roles.
  • Exposure to HR systems, data analytics, and HR processes.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
