Assistant Manager, Operational Excellence

  • Planning and identification of value multiplication areas
  • Identify key value drivers for the business based on Objectives and Key Results principles
  • Undertake problems identification for the key value drivers in line with the company direction, using DMAIC methodology
  • Establish project charters and the relevant cross functional team within the organisation, supported with strong business case
  • Coordinate activities of work stream to ensure deliverables are met
  • Collaborate with Finance to ensure financial reconciliation of programme impact and forecasted impact
  • Issue standard and ad hoc reports and conduct analysis as required

  • Continuously identify roadblocks or delays, define actions needed to unblock and follow up to ensure “course correction” problem solving
  • Challenge the status quo and being hungry for opportunities and better results
  • Act as a problem solving partner for the business as it seeks to identify new initiatives and generate greater impact
  • Break down organisational barriers to collaboration to ensure maximum value delivered
  • Support work stream teams by providing additional resource wherever necessary
  • Support work stream teams by building the capabilities of initiative owners and others in the business
Job Responsibilities (Con't)
  • Provide programme performance transparency to management
  • Validate and ensure reporting reflects programme performance and highlight exceptions to management team
  • Present/ support preparation of programme updates during key stakeholder meetings
  • Perform the role of an “ambassador” for transformation
  • Advisory roles to bring in the right Subject Matter Experts to solve problems
  • Motivate others and coach team members
  • Identify strategic change agents at operational level
Education/Professional Qualification

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Process Manufacturing or any other relevant background.

Lean Six Sigma certification is an added advantage.

Professional Experience

Operational Excellence and Lean Six Sigma related experience. Exposure in Property industry is an added advantage.
