Job Overview

We’re looking for a strategic team member to join our team as Assistant Manager/ Manager in Quantity Surveying. In this role, you’ll drive key decisions and optimize contract and procurement strategies to deliver exceptional projects. Your contribution will ensure we stay on budget, on schedule, and at the forefront of industry standards.

Key Accountabilities

• Assist in preparing Annual Contract Departmental Business Plan, strategic sourcing, prepare Annual Cost Budget, as well as QRCC
• Obtain Competitive Bid and Award Tender On Time, minimise Value of Variation Order (VO) / Extension of Time, ensure the completion of Final Account
• Control project cost and ensure overall budget of the projects is maintained from inception to completion
• Evaluate contractor's bid and advise on competitiveness of price and to monitor the cost of major cost elements
• Exercise timely and accurate completion of final account
• Lead a team of consultants, main contractors, subcontractors and suppliers to deliver the projects base on time cost and quality, environmental, safety and health compliance

Qualification

• Degree in Quantity Surveying & Building Technology

Experience

• Minimum 6 years working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Experience in a consultancy firm or property developer is an added advantage

Additional Requirements

• Able to work under pressure and ability to deliver assignments within the committed deadline
• Possess good leadership skills to be able to lead and manage a team of consultants to achieve desired results
• Proficiency in English and Malay, with Mandarin/Cantonese as an added advantage.
