Job description
Responsibilities
  • Credit Analysis and Support: Prepare credit analyses in support of new and existing clients
  • Credit Documentation: Support senior analysts and leads by collecting, organizing, and verifying data required for the preparation of comprehensive credit memorandums.
  • Risk Systems & Data: Ensure accuracy in the bank’s risk rating systems and data inputs; assist in scenario analysis and stress testing preparation.
  • Compliance & Filing: Maintain organized credit files and transaction documentation, ensuring all records adhere to internal policy and regulatory standards.
  • Transaction Compliance: Ensure all transactions comply with applicable regulatory frameworks, guidelines, and the Group’s internal policies and procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Relationship Managers, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure the smooth and timely closing and execution of FIG credit facilities
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional qualification and at least two (2) years of related experience.
  • Preference for Credit-related work experience with analytical skills and ability to conduct financial analysis, credit assessment and origination.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a banking, finance, or analytical support role, ideally with exposure to credit or risk management.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills together with the ability to work independently and solve problems with minimal supervision. Strong interpersonal skills with disposition to handle multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong drive and ability to leverage on the knowledge and experience from within the Group including practical knowledge of Maybank’s credit administration, policy and procedures.
