Assistant Manager, Logistics (based at Bukit Beruntung)

APM Automotive Holdings Berhad is a leading player in Malaysia's automotive components manufacturing market. We are hiring an Assistant Manager, Logistics to oversee the Logistics department, ensuring our service delivery meets customer requirements in the most cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities
  • Manage inhouse inventory, FIFO system monitoring.
  • Manage transportation routes and monitor the delivery process.
  • Manage incoming finished goods from subcontractors.
  • Costing for new RFQ.
  • Develop PSI and transportation routing setup.
  • Coordinate stock takes monthly and yearly.
  • Ensure no customer complaints, Zero VCF or DACR.
  • Maintain workplace safety / 5S practices.
  • Handle subordinates in operation.
What we\'re looking for

Education: Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Automotive or equivalent

Professional Experience: Preferably 3-5 years of relevant experience in logistics operation or manufacturing process, preferably automotive industry

Required skills:

  • Computer literate with experience on ERP system and knowledge of MS Office
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proactive, result oriented, good communication and interpersonal skills
