Job summary

A property management company is seeking a Leasing Executive to assist in planning and implementing leasing strategies, identifying suitable tenants, and negotiating lease terms. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in related fields, a minimum of 3 years of experience in retail mall leasing, and strong communication skills. This role is based in Pearl Point Shopping Mall, located in Selangor, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years working experience in retail mall leasing.
• Proactive, motivated, team player.
• Good written and spoken English; multi-language skills are an advantage.

Job Description

• Assist in planning and implementing leasing activities.
• Identify suitable tenants and initiate discussion with potential tenants.
• Negotiate the lease, finalize rental and other terms and conditions
• Ensure all the tenants follow the lease term
• Conduct market research to keeping up with market trends
• Follow up through execution to the opening of store
• Resolve any tenants’ concerns and issues immediately
• Prepare, update and maintain all leasing documentations
• Ensure that tenants are consistent with the retail plan and the positioning of the shopping mall
• Monitor all new and existing tenancy document activities are always up-to-date and completed on time
• Prepare and maintain tenancy agreements, management reports as well as documents with regards to lease transaction
• Liaise with Legal department on Tenancy Agreements
• Manage tenancy related matters such as rental, utilities collection and tenancy renewals
• Maintain a good rapport with new and existing tenants

Job Requirement

• Diploma/Degree in Leasing/Marketing/Estate Management/Property Management/ Retail/Business Administration or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years working experience in retail mall leasing.
• Well known in Microsoft office excel, word & power point.
• Able to work under tight deadlines, resourceful and discipline.
• Candidate shall be proactive, positively motivated, a good team player, have strong problem-solving skills and good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good written and spoken in English. Able to communicate in multi-languages will be an added advantage.
