Assistant Manager, KPI Management, Commerce & Business Division

Company, Divisional and Head of Divisions KPI setting during AMP or MYR. Collaborating with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective KPI setting during the AMP and MYR processes. Offering guidance and support to KPI custodians and the Control Tower on all KPI-related matters. Leading and assisting OMD Business Partners in executing their roles to facilitate the successful delivery of AMP/MYR. Identifying company priorities from both corporate and divisional plans and translating them into aligned divisional KPIs and targets. Driving key CBD initiatives, including the timely completion of AMP and MYR exercises. Coordinating uchiawase sessions with all divisions to ensure KPI targets are aligned with the company’s key assumptions and Control Tower reports. Supporting the consolidation of updates and changes during AMP/MYR for presentation to the CEO and MANCO for approval. Assisting in the preparation and finalization of KPIs for the company’s Vice Presidents (VPs) and Heads of Department (HODs).

  • Monthly monitoring and reporting of actual achievement, such as 67 KPIs, Divisional Performance Result in the Monthly Operational Management Meeting (MOMM), Quarterly Business Review (QBR), Head of Divisions performance and Year End Review (YER).
  • Designing and implementing a reporting mechanism to track actual performance of the Company and Divisional KPIs.
  • Conducting periodic monitoring, analysis, and reporting of Company and Divisional KPI performance to management.
  • Ensuring the effective coordination and smooth execution of the Monthly Operational Management Meetings.
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with Heads of Division and KPI custodians, including leading negotiations when necessary.
  • Overseeing and supporting KPI management activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Addressing business continuity issues related to KPI management and performance tracking.
  • Reviewing Divisional KPI results to verify accuracy and consistency with Control Tower reports.
  • Facilitating uchiawase sessions with KPI custodians and the Control Tower to ensure consensus on KPI results.
  • Managing individuals or teams through direct or matrix management structures, ensuring performance issues are addressed and adequate resources are allocated to meet objectives.
  • Assisting in the preparation of the final year-end performance review for the Company’s moderation exercises.

Job Requirements
  • Educational Qualification: Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a closely related field, or holds equivalent professional experience in lieu of formal academic qualifications.
  • Work Experience
    • Total Work Experience: 4 to 6 years
    • Relevant Experience: 1 to 3 years, with a focus on the following areas:
  • Preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industries.
  • Proven experience in collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including Heads of Division, managers, and employees.
  • Demonstrated ability in handling and managing large volumes of data and information.
  • Skilled in managing conflicts and sensitive matters, with a track record of achieving constructive outcomes.
  • Experience in delivering strategic initiatives within tight deadlines.
