Responsibilities
  • Plans and executes comprehensive IT audits (system development / application / network / IT operations / system security / Disaster Recovery).
  • Executes and manages audits to ensure compliance with standard policies, procedures, regulatory requirements and established scope and objectives.
  • Ensures adequacy of coverage and scope of audit reviews performed.
  • Prepares and presents written audit reports and other technical information in a pertinent, concise, and accurate manner, recommending solutions required to minimize exposures arising from control or other deficiencies and optimize effectiveness of are reviewed for distribution to management.
  • Observes and ensures timely issuance of audit reports.
  • Prepares working papers to ensure adequate documentation supports the completed reviews.
  • Guides and promotes the use of computerized audit techniques within the department, and develops methods for review and analysis of computerized information systems.
  • Performs follow‑up on audit observations to ensure management has taken adequate corrective action, including validation of all closed observations prior to recommending manager for issue closure.
  • Participates as an independent observer in the development / implementation of projects.
  • Executes ad hoc reviews or other assignments as directed by the Section Head, IT / Chief Internal Auditor (CIA) in a timely manner.
