Assistant Manager, Global Marketing Western (UK, ANZ & S. Asia)

Reporting To

Senior Manager, Western Region International Marketing

Role Purpose

Accountable for leading and supporting the strategic development, optimisation, and execution of regional marketing strategies and campaigns that strengthen brand presence, stimulate demand, and drive revenue performance across the Western Region.

Key Accountability
  • Support Regional Marketing Strategy – Assist the Senior Marketing Manager in developing regional marketing plans and initiatives for the Western Region, ensuring alignment with commercial priorities, route needs, and global brand direction
  • Market Insights & Commercial Support – Conduct market research and competitor monitoring (capacity, fares, campaigns, seasonality) to support commercial decision-making and identify opportunities that can strengthen route performance and demand generation
  • Campaign Planning & Execution – Coordinate and execute integrated marketing campaigns — including digital, trade-facing, airport partnerships, and tactical promotions — to drive brand visibility, stimulate demand, and support load factor and revenue targets
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with Sales, Revenue Management, Digital, Creative and others to support market-specific positioning, fare messaging, and campaign rollouts
  • Channel & Campaign Performance Tracking – Monitor campaign and digital channel performance against KPIs such as revenue contribution, IBE penetration, CVR, CTR, CPM, and ROI. Provide insights and recommendations to optimise efficiency and improve overall commercial outcomes
  • Regional Coordination – Coordinate with local market teams on campaign execution, ensuring consistent brand messaging, on‑time delivery of assets, and alignment with local commercial needs
  • Collateral Localisation & Content Support – Assist in the localisation and development of marketing materials, including digital creatives, brochures, trade kits, route launch assets, and content tailored to Western markets
  • Partner & Vendor Coordination – Support the management of relationships with tourism boards, airport partners, agencies, media vendors, and creators to facilitate co‑marketing opportunities and campaign execution
  • Industry & Market Monitoring – Stay updated on aviation and travel trends, consumer behaviour, competitor activities, and regulatory changes relevant to the Western Region
  • Reporting & Budget Assistance – Prepare weekly and monthly marketing reports, dashboards, performance summaries, and budget updates for review by the Senior Manager and management team
Qualification & Working Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5-6 years of experience in related industry

  • Strong understanding of the Western market, including consumer preferences, cultural nuances, and business practices
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and best practices, including brand management, market segmentation, and marketing communications
