  • Grab For Business is looking for an Assistant Manager, Planning & Projects to support strategy, planning and program management across 8 Southeast Asian markets.
  • You will report to the Senior Manager, GFB Planning & Projects and are based onsite in Petaling Jaya.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
  • You will lead strategic planning
    • Ensure a well‑coordinated strategy, including clear assessment on where the business stands and where you think it should be in the future
    • Establish systematic plans to realise strategy, including defining clear goals (e.g. $ GMV) and what are the programs and projects needed to be executed to achieve these goals
    • Program‑manage / project‑manage, including managing cross‑functional teams, until goals are achieved
  • You will collaborate with your Product counterpart to leverage Product to achieve your goals:
    • Discovery:
      • Identify target customer segments (who to build for), gather user requirements (what to build)
      • Conduct impact sizing and prioritization
      • Design and execute proofs‑of‑concept as needed
      • Determine roadmap sequence and launch timings
    • Delivery:
      • Lead go‑to‑market operationalization of new business opportunities.
Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a strategy, business analysis, or similar‑type role
  • You have proficiency in SQL
  • You have strong analytical and organisational skill i.e. able to define a clear strategy to achieve a business objective, develop a plan to systematically realise the strategy, and program‑manage the plan to fruition
  • You have strong communication skill i.e. able to synthesise large amount of information into clear messages to driven decision‑making and securing stakeholder support
