Job summary

A leading education group in Cyberjaya is seeking an Accounting professional to manage a full set of accounts and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in accounting, ACCA, or equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Key responsibilities include P&L analysis, maintaining financial records, liaising with auditors, and month-end closing activities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP is required. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Handle Full Set of Accounts in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Analyze P&L (monthly, budget variance, year-on-year comparisons).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Reconcile bank statements and prepare MFRSs relevant workings.
  • Review SST reports for submission to customs.
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting team.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external parties for finance-related matters.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc accounting as assigned.

  • Providing administrative support to the accounting team as needed.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external parties such as auditors, tax agents, and bankers for finance-related matters.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities and ensure accurate reporting within deadlines.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc accounting as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Diploma in Accountancy, Degree in Accounting, ACCA or other equivalent professional certificates.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
