ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
This role will be reporting to Head of Finance / CEO Capital Financing and will be responsible for supervise, plan, monitor and coordinate the daily operation role and accounting function for OSKs to ensure the smooth running of the department. Working location : Plaza OSK
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
- Responsible for the assigned financial and management accounting functions of the assigned entity/sub-group. Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of monthly accounts, financial statements, management reports, supporting schedules and all regulatory reports.
- Monitor daily cash flow position, fund transfer and short-term placements of the Company's cash flows in order to maximize return yields and minimize finance costs. Liaise with bankers/financiers/Group Treasury on all treasury matters of the Company.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of reports, audited financial statements, statistics and analysis detailing financial results. Timely preparation of Quarterly Report for regulatory reporting in compliance with listing requirement and another related bodies.
- Coordinate and oversee the overall conduct of audit exercise and liaise with internal and external auditors for completion of audit. Liaise with financial institutions, auditors, lawyers, tax agents and other external parties including regulatory bodies on the Group's financing and other accounting related matters.
- Supervise and review subordinates' work, if any. Provide coaching, guidance and feedback to staff in view of their work performance.
- Review/sign/approve daily, weekly and monthly transactions, work documents and financial reports including bank reconciliations that are prepared correctly and submitted timely. Also monitor the smooth running of the functions of the department and ensure proper internal controls and systems.
- Observe and comply at all times with all Acts, laws, articles of associations, rules and regulations pertaining to and/or affecting the Company's business and be conversant with all statutory updates where required as may be introduced thereto.
- Display teamwork and work closely with fellow members and senior management personnel at all times and continuously improvement of work flows for maximizing efficiency.
- Review desktop fund transfer and ensure that there is sufficient fund to meet the daily operational requirements.
- To carry out any other duties as and when instructed by the Management from time to time. Also perform special assignments or ad-hoc projects as assigned from time to time.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE
- Degree in Professional Qualification in related fields.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years relevant experiences.
- Meticulous and good analytical skills, committed with strong sense of responsibility.
- Computer literate, competent in MS Office applications especially in MS Excel.
