OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Costing & Manufacturing Finance professional to lead end-to-end costing, inventory control and capex governance for our operations. This role provides financial insights that drive product profitability, process efficiency, and business decision-making.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review costing, margin analysis and cost tracking of manufacturing cost drivers.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining accurate manufacturing costing and stock valuation methodologies aligned with accounting policies.
- Review cost estimation in Bills of Material (BOM), overhead allocation, and analyze variances including root-cause findings.
- Prepare product, customer, and plant-level profitability and cost allocation reports.
- Oversee month-end closing for costing and inventory, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
- Coordinate and review physical inventory counts and cycle counts, resolving variances with process owners.
- Ensure all stock movements and ending balances reconcile with the accounting inventory ledger.
- Strengthen and review internal controls for costing, inventory, and data/reporting systems.
- Review and ensure compliance with Capex Management processes and policies, including Capex budget preparation.
- Analyze ROI for Capex proposals and resolve related queries with stakeholders.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant working experiences, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge in preparing annual Capex budget.
- Strong knowledge in reviewing cost analysis, target costing margin analysis and tracking of cost of underlying activities.
- Proficient in manufacturing systems, ERP inventory modules and costing processes.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to details and ability to partner with operations.
