A leading manufacturer in Malaysia is seeking an experienced financial analyst to oversee cost analysis, manage Capex processes, and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least 6 years of relevant experience in financial management. This role offers the opportunity to coordinate financial activities and prepare profitability analyses.
Qualifications

- Knowledge in reviewing cost analysis and target costing margin analysis.

Overview
- Review Cost analysis, target costing margin analysis and tracking of cost of underlying activities.
- Coordinate Inventory taking.
- Review Month End closing and reports.
- Review, update and compliance of Capex Management.
- Prepare Sales Profitability and Cost allocation.
- Review the controls needed for data and reporting systems.
- Coordinate physical inventory taking. Review cycle counting variances and resolve issues with process owner.
- Assist in setting up the manufacturing costing and stock valuation method in accordance with accounting policies
- Ensure all category stock movement and ending balance tally with accounting inventory ledger account.
- Review cost estimation in bill of material (BOM) and actual cost.
- Review production overhead and variances to ensure accuracy of product costing.
- Review production variances and finding of variance root causes
- Prepare product profitability analysis.
- Prepare cost allocation by plant, by product.
- Prepare manual costing report.
- Review and update capex process and policy, ensure compliance of CAPEX management.
- Analysis and query resolution for ROI and Capex.
Job Requirements
