Corporate Secretarial
- Manage all corporate secretarial functions and provide support to Management or Superiors on governance and compliance-related matters.
- Ensure timely and accurate lodgment of statutory forms, returns, and reports in line with regulatory obligations.
- Uphold and promote best practices in corporate governance and ensure compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Review statutory documents, company returns, and other secretarial documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Draft board papers, resolutions, and minutes for Board, Board Committee, and Shareholders' meetings.
- Coordinate, organize, and attend Board, Board Committee, and Shareholder meetings, ensuring all requirements are met.
- Assist in the preparation and compilation of the Company’s Annual Reports.
- Maintain and update statutory records, registers, and corporate information in a timely and organized manner.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Management or Superior, including multi‑tasking across relevant areas as and when required.
Sustainability
- Implement sustainability strategies that support the Company’s ESG sustainability objectives.
- Coordinate with relevant departments and operating units within the Group to monitor the target achievement of all deliverables.
- Assist in the preparation of sustainability reporting in alignment with reporting standards and frameworks and in compliance with the relevant regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the conduct of the Group’s annual supplier self‑assessment.
- Support the preparation of the external assurance of the sustainability process and data.
- Develop and implement communication plans to promote sustainability awareness and to inculcate sustainability ownership through sustainability programs.
- Lead the team in the compilation & verification of sustainability performance data.
- Prepare sustainability‑related presentations, reports, and ESG rating update for both internal and external consumption.
Job Requirements
- A member of MAICSA.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in corporate secretarial practice, including at least 5 years in a public listed company.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both spoken and written.
- Computer literate, detail‑oriented, and highly meticulous in documents and compliance matters.
- In‑depth knowledge of company secretarial practices, the Companies Act 2016, Main market listing requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, and other relevant laws and regulations.
