Objective of Job
As the Content Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for the execution and operational management of content initiatives across various channels and multiple markets. The candidate will need context expertise which will aid in the briefing of content adaptations. Focus on strategic alignment with headquarters (HQ), regional Experience Centers streams, global agencies, and local markets to ensure effective content governance, quality, and campaign success is of utmost importance.
You will play a key role in ensuring that all content adaptations are effectively localized per market brief, whilst ensuring the global CI and strategies remain intact, and implemented across multiple channels. Each task needs to be with the aim of elevating digital engagement by leveraging the latest trends and technologies in automotive marketing, over and above agency guidance.
Job Description
- Recommend and refine regional digital marketing creative strategy and activation plans to achieve optimal performance.
- Alignment between stakeholders on process and delivery timelines.
- Effectively oversee local agencies to ensure the highest quality delivery in planning and execution across all markets.
- Analyze and report on success KPIs for efficient and effective content activation. Formulate actionable insights and recommendations for markets and management.
- Innovate and stay up to date on the latest developments and best practices to foster the learnings for the entire regional team.
- Align and work closely with other streams such as media, CRM, Web, Personalization etc. to optimize the creative process and only create content and formats which are needed.
- Strategic alignment with HQ as and when there are development.
- Implement Agile methodology into working processes, utilizing the project management tool Asana.
Qualifications
- Completed university degree in the field of marketing / communication science / business administration or a comparable qualification.
Experience (type of)
- 3-5 years’ experience in digital marketing with focus on marketing strategy and content adaptation.
- Experience working through the line/360 degree campaigns however digital being the most important, not limited to social.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills required.
- Must demonstrate analytical, strategic thinking and reporting capabilities.
- Proven deliver results and clear demonstration of project management and critical thinking.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and manage end-to-end content operations alongside Content Adaptation Manager across all regional markets in alignment with global strategies and CI.
- Coordinate with HQ, the Experience Center in Malaysia, external agencies, and local market teams to ensure consistency and high-quality delivery of content across campaigns.
- Oversee the planning, scheduling, and deployment of content across platforms, ensuring timely delivery and optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support marketing initiatives with strategic content planning and execution, internally in MB and externally with agency partners.
- Manage and prioritize multiple content projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality assurance.
- Data-driven and obsessed with measurable impact of a campaign for future optimizations, supporting the development of best practices.
Specific knowledge/ Skill
- Strong project management and organizational skills with a results-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English spoken and written and exceptional faculty of expression; Additional languages are a plus.
- Experience in a regional or global content role.
- Familiarity with systems and tools e.g. content management systems (CMS), digital asset management (DAM) tools, Mural and Asana.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail is of the utmost importance.
- High level of intercultural understanding and the ability to work effectively in a multinational environment.
