Your Day-to-Day
  • Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements (if applicable), and other statutory obligations.
  • Prepare and file statutory documents such as annual returns, resolutions, and changes in directors/share capital with regulatory bodies (e.g., SSM, Bursa Malaysia, SC).
  • Advise the board and management on corporate governance best practices.
  • Organize and coordinate Board, Board Committee, and General Meetings.
  • Prepare agendas, board papers, minutes, and ensure timely distribution to all members.
  • Maintain accurate records and minutes of meetings.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for directors, shareholders, regulators, and stakeholders on company secretarial matters.
  • Coordinate communication with shareholders, including handling dividend distributions and share transfers.
  • Maintain statutory registers (directors, shareholders, charges, etc.) and ensure timely submission of documents to SSM.
  • Keep records of resolutions, consents, and other company documents.
  • Provide legal, administrative, and governance advice to the Board and senior management.
  • Keep up to date with regulatory changes and ensure timely dissemination of updates to relevant parties.
Your Know - How
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in corporate secretarial practice.
  • Experience with listed companies is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian corporate law and governance practices.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
