A prominent conglomerate in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Company Secretary to ensure compliance and support governance operations. The successful candidate will attend Board meetings, liaise with auditors and assist in statutory documentation. A minimum of 5 years in company secretarial practice and excellent English communication skills are required. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to governance enhancement initiatives within a dynamic organization.

Attend Board and Committee meetings including preparing and disseminating notices and agenda of meetings and preparing the minutes of meetings, matters arising reports etc.
Ensure compliance with statutory/ regulatory requirements and timely submission of all requisite forms, returns and documents and release of announcements to Bursa Securities Malaysia Berhad.
Liaise with and assist the Company Secretarial unit in preparing directors/ members resolutions/ forms and all returns and documents which needs to be lodged with Company Commission Malaysia (CCM) and on other company secretarial matters.
Update, maintain and ensure proper custody of all relevant statutory records, books, forms and documents, ensuring confidentiality and readiness for audit or regulatory review.
Advise Directors, Management and business units on governance requirements, statutory obligations, and procedural matters relating to all company secretarial matters.
Liaise with the auditors, lawyers, external advisers and other relevant governmental/ statutory authorities on all company secretarial matters to support smooth governance operations and compliance.
Observe, comply and be conversant with all Acts, laws, articles of associations, rules and regulations affecting the Group’s business and all other statutory modifications and reenactments as may be introduced thereto.
Where applicable, supervise, guide, and mentor subordinates to maintain service excellence, promote knowledge-sharing and support overall team productivity.
Participate in governance enhancement initiatives, policy reviews, and process improvements.
To perform and coordinate ad hoc projects for the Group and undertake any other duties as may be assigned by Management from time to time.
MAICSA student or member.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in company secretarial practice.
Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and confident demeanor.
