Job summary

A leading jewellery retailer in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced individual to manage department operations, enhance customer relationships, and drive sales. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in retail, preferably in jewellery management, and possess strong communication skills in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin). This role offers an attractive remuneration package along with various benefits including leave and medical insurance.

Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of experience in retail, with 4 years in jewellery or management.
  • Candidates with relevant management experience in jewellery will be favorably considered.

Job description

Assist to manage the operation of the Department

Build up strong customer relationship

Drives sales through effective merchandising and promotional activity

Build up strong customer relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and complaints resolution

Provide feedback to staff about performance and expectations

Responsible for managing the operation of the department, the flow of goods and improving the efficiency of employees

Prepare sales and retail-related reports

What We Look for:
  • With at least 8 years solid working experience in retail industry preferably with 4 years in jewellery or management
  • Strong communication and customer service skill
  • Good communication and written skills on both English and Chinese including Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Strong business sense, with logical thinking and analytical ability
  • Good leadership with ability to coach and motivate sales team to achieve sales target and high sense of responsibility
  • Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays on a rotational roster
  • Ability to work with POS systems, Microsoft applications and portable devices
  • Candidates with more solid & relevant working experience and management in jewellery retail industry will be considered for the post of Jewellery Sales Manager
