Job summary

A leading educational organization in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to manage recruitment activities, employee relations, and learning and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Human Resources or related fields, coupled with 3-5 years of HR experience. You will play a key role in enhancing employee engagement and ensuring compliance with labour laws. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, along with a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 – 5 years of HR experience covering recruitment, employee relations, and people development.
  • Experience in learning and development and employee engagement initiatives is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment activities including job postings and interview coordination.
  • Support onboarding activities to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
  • Lead employee engagement and staff wellbeing initiatives.

Matrix Educare – Seremban, Negeri Sembilan

Manage end-to-end recruitment activities including job postings, shortlisting, interview coordination, and offer management.

Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower needs and provide recruitment guidance.

Coordinate with recruitment agencies where required and monitor recruitment timelines.

Support onboarding activities to ensure smooth integration of new hires.

Learning & Development

Plan and conduct learning and development initiatives to support organisational and staff development needs.

Coordinate training programmes, workshops, and development activities.

Maintain training records and track participation and effectiveness.

Support performance management and employee development initiatives.

Industrial Relations (IR) & Employee Relations

Manage employee relations matters including disciplinary cases, grievances, counselling, and performance-related issues.

Advise line managers on disciplinary procedures and ensure due process is followed.

Support IR matters including investigations, documentation, and engagement with relevant authorities where required.

Ensure compliance with labour laws, employment regulations, and internal HR policies.

Employee Engagement & Culture

Lead employee engagement and staff wellbeing initiatives in collaboration with key stakeholders. Review engagement feedback and support follow-up actions with relevant stakeholders.

Assist with internal communications related to HR initiatives, policies, and programmes.

Promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture.

Requirements
