Job description

Responsibilities

Responsible for all aspects of palm oil mill related matters including management, organizing, controlling and planning.

Provide strong leadership and vision for the overall operations and strategic direction of the plant.

To ensure the operation are running smoothly, efficiently, cost effectively and production target being achieved and constantly monitored.

Build and lead a high-performing team; ensure proper training, coaching, and performance evaluations.

Coordinate and delegate tasks effectively, ensuring all team members adhere to company policies and standard operating procedures.

Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance.

Identify areas for system and process improvements and implement changes to improve overall efficiency and cost savings for the palm oil mill.

Ensure all production meets company quality standards and industry requirements, including MSPO certification compliance.

Implement quality control measures and identify areas for improvement in processes.

Able to formulate budgets and work programs, labour management and perform monthly analysis on the performance of the mill.

Enforce strict adherence to safety, health and environmental regulations.

Responsible for any Special Projects as and when assigned by General Manager.

To deal with relevant government bodies, such as DOSH, DOE, MPOB and etc., and ensure the compliance of all relevant laws and regulations.

Responsible for the daily and monthly Management Reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior managerial role within palm oil mill industry
• Possess at least a Degree in Mechanical / Chemical engineering or equivalent.
• Willing to travel west and east Malaysia (Sarawak).
• Must possess 1st Grade Steam Engineer’s certification of competency.
