About the Role

The Operation Manager will oversee the daily manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and productivity in assembly operation. This role requires strong leadership, process optimization skills, and expertise in lean manufacturing to drive operational excellence and meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production & Operations Management:
    1. Oversee end-to-end production processes, ensuring smooth operations in box build assembly and wire harness manufacturing.
    2. Develop and implement production schedules, optimizing resources to meet customer demand and minimize downtime.
    3. Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and safety regulations.
    4. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.
    5. Implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Quality & Process Improvement:
    1. Establish and enforce quality control standards to maintain high product quality and reliability.
    2. Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
    3. Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to implement best practices and process improvements.
  • Supply Chain & Inventory Management:
    1. Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely material availability.
    2. Optimize inventory levels to reduce costs while maintaining production flow.
    3. Establish relationships with suppliers to improve material quality and cost efficiency.
    4. Lead, train, and mentor production teams to enhance skill development and performance.
    5. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and accountability.
    6. Conduct performance evaluations and set objectives to align team goals with company strategy.
    7. Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and ensure on‑time delivery.
    8. Liaise with cross-functional departments, including Engineering, Quality, and Sales, to support business objectives.
    9. Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring product quality and timely response to issues.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing (assembly) operations.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision‑making skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools.
