About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Financial Controller / Senior Finance Manager to join our team at EKOVEST BERHAD. You will play a pivotal role in the financial accounting and reporting functions within our company, based in Kuala Lumpur.

Job Description

• Responsible for all aspect of financial related activities of the Company, including preparation of financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, cash flows, management reports, taxation and manage internal and external audit processes.
• Ensuring accurate and timely group financial reporting are in compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity position.
• Consolidate and review financial performance across subsidiaries.
• Analysing financial data and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• A Degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA, CIMA, CFA or other professional accounting qualification.
• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting principles, as well as relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across the organization.
