A global biopharma company is seeking an Assistant Financial Controller in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. The role involves preparing financial statements, conducting financial analysis, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure compliance with accounting standards. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, professional accountancy qualifications, and at least 5 years of experience in financial reporting. Proficiency in SAP and Excel is important, along with strong analytical and communication skills.
As the Assistant Financial Controller you are expected to provide continuous support in Financial Reporting to the Financial Controller. Your focus will be financial statements preparation with the assigned markets, gathering financial forecasting information from a variety of sources/systems, within the timetable and in the forms required by corporate guidelines. This includes delivering right first-time reporting and analysis which is insightful and supports the business to develop accurate plans in a strong controls and assurance environment.
